It is no doubt that among Kannadigs in the Gulf, tulu speaking residents are in majority. They are vibrant, colorfull and enterprising lot. Their love towards anything from home land is well-known. From Folk dance to Yakshagana; from Bajil Sajjige to Kori Rotti, from Pardana to Film song and Masala Dosa to Biryani this community relishes every thing which gives them a feeling of ‘home’.

To provide them a feel of ‘home away from home’ is a huge marketing and business opportunity. In this context KOD’s move to incorporate Tulu and Beary language slot in their programme ‘Nammura Nudigalu’ is a positive step to enhance their market share.
