Mangaluru: DCP Hanumantharaya made deputy director at Enforcement Directorate

Mangaluru, Oct 7: Deputy commissioner of police (Law and Order) Hanumantharaya has been appointed as deputy director, Enforcement Directorate (ED), Bengaluru.

The state government has agreed to the central government’s request to relieve Hanumantharaya with immediate effect. He has been posted for central deputation for three years.

Hanumantharaya was posted on June 8, 2017 as the deputy commissioner of police (crime and traffic). He was promoted to the IPS grade as superintendent of police in July. 

Uma Prashanth recently took over as the new deputy commissioner of police (crime and traffic), a post which was lying vacant since August 15 after Hanumantharaya was made DCP (law and order) in Mangaluru.
