Bantwal advocate Arun Shyam appointed state additional advocate general

Bengaluru, Sep 9: High court advocate Arun Shyam, has been appointed as the additional advocate general of Karnataka. His appointment was made through an order passed by the state government on Tuesday September 8.

Arun Shyam is from Panjigadde in Bantwal taluk. He secured his degree in law through Vivekananda College Puttur. After getting his LLM degree from Kuvempu University, Arun started his professional life at the state high court. He happens to be a member of the academic council of National Law School.

Arun Shyam has been appointed in the place vacated by former advocate general, R Nataraj, who has been elevated as high court judge.
