Bengaluru: Nalapad takes over charge as state youth Congress president

Bengaluru, Feb 11: Mohammed Nalapad took over charge as the state youth Congress president on Thursday February 10. A programme organized on the occasion was attended by leader of the opposition, Siddaramaiah, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president D K Shivakumar, and other important leaders.

Speaking after assuming charge, Nalapad said that he has drawn up a five-point agenda to lead the youth Congress unit from the front. He explained that highest enrolment of memberships, selecting one digital youth at the booth level and training him in technologies including WhatsApp, Facebook etc so that the programmes of the party are spread to maximum people, organizing Basava Jayanti, Christmas, Eid and Diwali annually on which occasions, marriages of a hundred widows will be arranged," he said.

Nalapad said that he had committed a blunder in the past and had repented for the same. "Siddaramaiah provided guidance to me at this point. During the trying times, he was by my side. D K Shivakumar was with me during the critical period and infused confidence in me," he stated.
